.       Primary Responsibilities:

Advanced device debug, at the bench and test setup level, for embedded DSP and Microprocessors designs.
Develop and maintain production test programs
Ability to analyze/interpret data that’s generated from a test platform and use the data to improve product quality.
Adept at writing scripts or software tools to enhance productivity, improve yield, and cut costs.
5.    Ability to interpret customer inputs and apply those inputs to our products and processes.
 

Supporting & Secondary Responsibilities

Ability to adapt to constantly evolving tools and technology. Additionally, the engineer will be expected to develop innovative solutions to problems.  Once sufficient experience is gained candidates will be expected to work with little or no supervision.
 
Management /Organization Skills:
Must be able to interface with Customer Engineering and Management and internal TI Management on a regular basis.  Data analysis and interpretation are key to successful communication.

Technical Abilities: 
Education:  BSEE                     Years:  1                     Industry:  Computer/IC

Skills:  Digital tester experience. Hardware/software knowledge with ability to generate and debug test programs for production and qualification support. Knowledge of Unix and perl/C programming preferred. Knowledge of reliability testing and/or qualification testing of semiconductors preferred.
Other: .  Must be able to work independently. Ability to write and debug assembly level code for system level bench testing
